gama consulting has been asked to provide engineering services for a boutique five storey mixed construction/mixed-use apartment project at Unley.
The project, called The Esmond will deliver a collection of residential apartments along with space for a ground-floor café, adding to the vibrancy of the Unley Road precinct and also features sweeping views to the North of the city.
gama was able to provide structural, civil and environmental engineering services for the project and overcame design challenges including the very narrow site, while still meeting the architectural vision.
Construction consisted of predominantly concrete framing with concrete flat slabs, localised bondek, precast walls and lightweight steel framed top stories. Gama was able to provide engineering solutions for the design for the lift, ground floor carpark, retail space and residential apartments.
