gama consulting has been engaged to provide engineering services for a number of large-scale modular buildings including deck and verandah design within a number of prominent mine sites, within SA, NSW and around Australia.
Using the Fielders Century Range, gama was able to design multiple decks ranging in size up to 45 metres for the campsite including the kitchen, dining and accommodation areas.
gama worked effectively with all stakeholders to meet specific loading requirements needed within mining site projects.
Structural documentation provided included:
- design analysis of deck and floor framing structure
- verandah roof framing design and analysis
- being an open mine site, stiffening of the verandah columns was needed to ensure that they met the National Construction Code.
