gama consulting was engaged to carry out consulting civil engineering services for global organisation Kongsberg Defence Australia’s brand new 2,500m² manufacturing and software headquarters located in Technology Park, Mawson Lakes, SA.
The project includes a three-storey office and warehouse, with impressive full height void and secure areas. The unique building also features a mezzanine, training area, rooftop barbecue space and end-of-trip facilities for staff wellbeing and convenience.
We worked closely with NDY and Section 6 on this amazing project with highlights including:
- design to comply with LEED requirements for stormwater disposal
- use of on-site swales and above ground rainwater tanks
- erosion and sedimentation control
- preparation of a site plan showing floor and paving levels and stormwater management plan
- design of stormwater detention
- new car parking
- concrete pavement design
- vehicle and pedestrian access.
