Henley Beach Community Kindergarten Upgrade

gama consulting was engaged to provide engineering services to create a new open plan play area and kitchen for students and staff at the Henley Community Kindergarten to enjoy.

The existing structure was reviewed to determine how to best support roof loads when removing load bearing walls. The roof beam design ensured intermediate columns weren’t required and were replaced with a lintel. Bracing and stability also needed to be considered as part of the engineering documentation.
