gama was asked to deliver the civil and structural engineering services for the newly built 120m3/hr concrete plant and the 5,000m2 site based in the Northern Territory.
The wet batch plant comprises of two ground bins, radial conveyor belt, 6x30 tonne storage bins, mixing plant and office room, water holding and water weighing hopper and 4x90 tonne silos, measuring over 20 metres high.
Our analysis included stormwater and civil engineering design ensuring the site met client functional requirements for vehicle movement and plant operational requirements.
Due to the extent and size of particular structures, earthquake loads governed the analysis.
