As a multi award winning structural, civil and environmental engineering firm, we at gama consulting are proud to have just opened our newly fitted-out Adelaide headquarters after an eight-week rebuild. And to mark the occasion, we are also embarking on our 10,000th project!
gama consulting now proudly employs over 35 staff, priding ourselves on our people, business culture and providing high quality engineering solutions nationwide with several high-profile projects underway. These include the University of Adelaide’s Union House, Ngutu College Stage 1 redevelopment, Sunrise School Collaborative Outdoor Learning Centre at Fullarton, numerous Ventia projects for DfE and Tafe SA, a state-of-the-art robotics warehouse for Isuzu as well as multiple projects in developing civil design in the renewable energy sector.
With beginnings in 2016 with founding Directors Matty Mammone and Gabby Stracci and the addition of Hamish Bills, we have been fortunate to have had significant growth over the last eight years.
gama has also continued its trajectory with the recent opening of its Brisbane office in 2023 with the addition of Leo Karadimitris Director – Queensland Buildings and Properties, with the office already having completed a number of projects across industrial, commercial, education and residential sectors. Queensland clients have included Hutchinson Builders, Reddog Architects, Base Architecture and Formplus.
Matthew Mammone, Managing Director, gama consulting explains, “It’s been amazing to see how gama has grown and evolved over the last eight years.
“We are so proud of the projects we are working on and our diversity is our strength. Having worked across commercial, industrial, education, defence, water, renewables, health and residential sectors has allowed us to develop great technical capability which offers an opportunity for our staff to continue to evolve and be a part of the progression.
“We have always been big on our people and forming lasting relationships with our staff and clients, we take what we do seriously. Without engineering input, construction doesn’t exist,” he says.
And when it comes to plans for the year ahead, Matthew explains, “We will focus on growing the business, providing innovative engineering solutions on all our projects and continuing to create a positive culture and work environment for our staff and clients across our Adelaide and Brisbane offices.”
