As a multi HIA and Master Builder Award winning structural, civil and environmental engineering firm, here at gama consulting we are also preparing to celebrate our 10th birthday in March 2026.

The milestone also marks an exciting new chapter, with respected industry leader Adam Trzesinski joining the team of Directors to establish and lead gama’s new Building Services arm.

Now employing more than 50 staff across offices in Adelaide and Brisbane, gama consulting continues to grow our national footprint, delivering innovative engineering solutions to clients across a range of sectors including residential, commercial, industrial, health, education, aged-care, renewable energy and defence.

Founded in 2016 by Directors Matty Mammone and Gabby Stracci, and later joined by Hamish Bills, gama has experienced significant growth over the past decade, evolving from a modest Adelaide-based consultancy into a multi-disciplinary national firm.

“Reaching 10 years is something we’re incredibly proud of,” said gama consulting Director Matty Mammone. “What started as a small Adelaide-based practice has grown into a national consultancy with over 50 people, and that growth has only been possible because of the trust of our clients and the strength of our team.”

Mammone said the appointment of Trzesinski further strengthens gama’s ability to deliver fully integrated engineering solutions.

“Adam brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the Building Services field, leading the team in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and fire engineering services,” he said. “With Structural, Civil, Environmental and now Building Services all under one roof, gama truly offers a full suite of engineering services for our clients.”

Trzesinski said joining gama at such a pivotal time in its journey was an exciting opportunity.

“gama has built a strong reputation for technical excellence and long-term client relationships,” he said.

“The opportunity to establish and lead the Building Services arm within a growing national consultancy was incredibly compelling, and it allows us to create even greater value for clients.”

While Adelaide remains gama's foundation, the expansion into Queensland has been a key strategic focus.

“Adelaide will always be home for gama,” Mammone said. “It’s where our culture was formed and where many of our long-standing client relationships began.”

“Brisbane has been an exciting next chapter for us. Watching our Queensland team grow over the past two years has reinforced that we’re here for the long term and genuinely committed to the local market having built a great loyal client base.”

Reflecting on the company’s success, Mammone said the people behind the business had been critical.

“Our leadership group, our staff, and the culture we’ve built are at the heart of everything we do,” he said.

“From our early residential projects to now delivering major infrastructure projects, our growth has been underpinned by strong relationships, shared values and the support of our wider families.”

“As we look ahead, our focus remains the same — investing in our people, supporting our clients, and continuing to grow sustainably across Australia.”
